The Havanese breed is a wonderful example of what a modern “Companion Dog” should be …
The Havanese is non-shedding and odorless, may be either wavy or curly. Twice a week brushing is usually enough grooming. As for colour, the Havanese coat comes in pretty shades of white, cream, chocolate, silver, gold, blue, black, champagne, or a combination of these colours. The Havanese is non-shedding. Therefore an excellent choice where allergies are a problem. The Havanese Cuba contributed more to the world than just a good cigar. The Havanese, an adorable little dog absolutely sparkling with personality. The Havanese, a unique breed of dog, was developed in Cuba and was later saved from extinction due to the determination of concerned breeders. Eleven dogs were purchased in 1974, representing four different bloodlines. The utmost care is taken to breed healthy dogs with excellent temperament and increasingly good confirmation. The Havanese is very affectionate toward children and sturdy enough to take long periods of playtime. Training is extremely easy with these little dogs. Do not, however, confuse small with frail. When it comes to stamina, good health, intelligence, and alertness, the Havanese stands 10 feet tall. |
